Josy Joseph - Journalist

Josy Joseph is a leading Indian investigative journalist. He is currently the National Security Editor with The Hindu.He was born on 6 May 1974 to KM Joseph and Annamma Joseph of Karondukadavil family in Cherthala, Alapuzha District, Kerala as the third of their four children. He completed his schooling from the Sainik School, Kazhakootam in 1991. He later graduated from NSS College, Cherthala, affiliated to the University of Kerala, in Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics, and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism. Joseph did a Masters in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and was a prominent face of its international campaign in 2011-2012. He was also a fellow at the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, Singapore and is an alumnus of the Colombo-based Regional Centre for Strategic Studies. Rajeev Ravi - Cinematographer & Director

Rajeev Ravi, born in Ernakulam, is a National Award winning film cinematographer and director in Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu industry. As a cinematographer, he is known for No Smoking, DevD, Gulaal, Gangs of Wasseypur, Liars Dice etc. His directorial ventures (until 2016) Annayum Rasoolum, Njan Steve Lopez and Kammattippaadam are considered landmarks in the Malayalam film industry. He won the National Award for Cinematography in 2015. 

Tintu Lukka - Athletics

Tintu Luka born in Valathode in Kannur district, Kerala, is a track and field athlete who competes in the 800 metres and 400 metres. Tintu did her schooling from St. Thomas High School, Karikkottakary. Tintu is the national record holder in the women's 800-metre race. She is coached by P.T. Usha at the Usha School of Athletics, Koyilandy, Kerala, and is supported by Olympic Gold Quest. She was awarded Arjuna award by the Government of India in 2014. She participated in Rio Olympics, 2016.

Bijibal Maniyil - Music

Bijibal Maniyil is a National Award winning composer and playback singer in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut as a film composer in year 2007 with the film Arabikkatha. He won the National Film Award for best background score in 2013, for the film Kaliyachan. Bijibal has also done a non-film Malayalam album named Vasco Da Gama. His other significant works include ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Paleri Manikyam, Kerala Café, and Salt ‘N’ Pepper.

Subhash Chandran - Literature

Born in 1972 at Kadungallor, near Alwaye Mr Subhash Chandran spent his youth at St.Alberts College and Maharajas College. A first rank post-graduate in Malayalam literature from Maharajas College, Ernakulam, he joined Law College for his masters. However, he discontinued his law studies to accept the job as a proof reader in Mathrubhumi Daily. Currently, he is working as an editor in Mathrubhumi, Calicut.

He is best known for the 2010 novel Manushyanu Oru Aamukham. He is one of the most read young writers in contemporary Malayalam literature.. His stories "Vadhakramam", "Sannmargam", "Parudeesa Nashtam" and "Guptham" have been adapted into films. He is the only writer to be honored with the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for both his debut story collection (2001) and debut novel (2011). He is also a recipient of Sahitya Akademi Award, Odakkuzhal Award and Vayalar Award.
